Frames of Sovereignty

Indigenous Made. Community Driven.

Ota Au Films crew capturing cinematic documentary filmmaking, Native videography, aerial drone footage, and photography.

Good storytelling starts with listening. We take the time to understand your vision and bring it to life through film, photography, and digital media. We work with all walks of life and treat every project like it's our own.

Welcome to Ota Au Films, a Native-led media collective founded by Indigenous documentary filmmaker and photographer Seth Brings Plenty. As a dedicated Native videographer in South Dakota, Seth specializes in authentic visual storytelling, commercial video production, and high-impact documentary shorts for non-profits and grassroots organizations. From the Black Hills to local tribal nations, we bring professional media development and cinematic depth to every community project we capture.
