Pro Bono Media Request

A pro bono media request is a request for media coverage or documentation provided at no cost, specifically for Indigenous communities, tribal members, and causes that lack proper representation. Ota Au Films is committed to using storytelling to uplift these voices and bring attention to important issues in Indian Country.​

Who We Support:

• Indigenous communities, tribal members, and causes lacking adequate media coverage.

• Non-emergency stories that deserve more visibility and awareness. (For Example: Missing Person(s), MMIP, Grassroots Initiatives, Extractivism & Environmental Justice, Social Justice Causes, Oral History, and Cultural Teachings.)

How to Submit a Request:

• If you believe a story is being overlooked or needs attention, please submit a request.

• Include any relevant materials (background info, contacts, or supporting documents) to help us further understand.

We do our best to review and fulfill requests, but as a small team with limited funding, we may not be able to accommodate every submission. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
